Livingston Arts Center is located on the historic Livingston County Campus in Mount Morris, a picturesque rural community opposite Letchworth State Park on the Genesee River. The arts center features a collection of WPA easel paintings in its New Deal Gallery and local art in Apartment 1 Gallery. The building is part of a 1930s era tuberculosis hospital and originally housed the physicians and their families in four apartments. The Genesee Valley Council on the Arts manages the arts center, hosting arts and cultural programming and classes onsite. GVCA also provides arts services for the county, including a Members' Exhibit, Mini-Gallery Program, Artists of the Genesee Valley Studio Tour, Artful Holidays art and fine craft show and sale, four grant programs, and an active folk arts program. The arts center is open to the public year-round. For hours, contact the arts center by telephone or internet.
